Protocol for Routine Infection Prevention Cleaning and Disinfection

Routine Cleaning and Disinfection will follow CDC Cleaning and Disinfecting Guidance and includes cleaning classrooms between groups, playground equipment daily or between groups as much as possible, restroom doors, faucet handles, etc.

  • Cleaning will happen when/if cohorts are moving between rooms (will be cleaned each time).
  • Restrooms will be cleaned multiple times a day.
  • All rooms will be sanitized at least once per day. Isolation and non-COVID-19 health rooms will be cleaned after use.
  • Playground and gym equipment between cohorts.

(School/District Facilities managers will have a much greater understanding of cleaning requirements and will collaborate with LPHA)

(School/District Facilities managers will have a much greater understanding of cleaning requirements and will collaborate with LPHA)

*Protocols must include type and storage location of supplies and the people responsible
